Ode to Honeycrisp

God makes some amazing fruit that is perfect simply as it is. Each is unique and created especially for our enjoyment and our body’s use. Think of the difference between a banana and a kiwi, a persimmon and a pineapple, a watermelon and a cherry, a pomegranate and a mango. Today, I bought one tremendous apple. It was the kind of apple that makes your mouth water just looking at it. Okay, it was $2.49 a pound and I didn’t bother to weigh it. All I knew was that I was going to share it with 2 special people, and it would be worth every penny.

I was not disappointed. When my husband and son came in for a break from fence building, I was ready with my jewel of an apple. It was freshly washed. I pulled out my favorite knife and a clean cutting board. As I cut down through it, there was the unmistakable sound of crispness and a subtle aroma of autumn. It was a Honeycrisp. What a fabulous name for this pink and peach colored beauty! Yes, this is the creme de la creme of apples. The first bite said it all. It was a “moment to remember”: the loud crunch, the zing of honey sweetness beneath its skin, the trickle of juice running down my thumb, and the perfect balance of tartness. Whoa! All we could say was “Ummmmm”. Pure health in every bite. What could be better? No need to cook, mash, add sugar, or fry. Eat it fresh and slowly savor every bite. But most of all, share it with someone you love.

I go back to my posts from Christmas time a couple of years ago. If you participate you will find that at first you think you make Soldiers feel better. Proud to be serving, proud that those at home recognize their service. Then you feel the results, you read some emails, get some calls and suddenly your overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with the feeling of goodness within you. You realize that who you actually made feel better was you. You feel taller you feel better, all because a Soldier serving gave you the ability to step up just a little.

As always I want to say just very simply "Thank you" , thank you for keeping my country safe. Thank you for keeping my kids and Grandchildren safe. Your not just the best fighting force in the the World your our best fighting force in the World for all of what is good.

Today I received one of the nicest gifts I have ever received. This Flag was flown over The Head Quarters of the "Army 34th Red Bull" Basra Iraq on Thanksgiving Day and sent to me to thank us for "Operation Apple" from our Apple Crunchers serving in the command of General Nash. Thank you.. Special thanks to Dan Bari. This is the Best! Please say a Prayer for our Men and Woman serving this New Years Eve all around the World!
It amazes me that our Troops give more to those around them than the World will ever know. You should know you make a difference to all those you touch. Thanks Again for such a wonderful gift on New Years Eve. This is a day that I will never forget!

"Operational Apple" and Christmas

This picture was taken a couple of years ago by our loyal service people in Iraq who love Honeycrisp apples. They were the start of "Operation Apple".

Each year at Christmas it is these faces that I think of. The Brave men and Woman far from Home doing the best to be their best. For what? For our Freedom and for the opportunity for others to be free like us. It is the thought that maybe my Grand Children and theirs may not have to fight wars, because of their service.

So it seems that that getting a taste of home and looking forward to something coming makes them happy. I hope that this group now is safe at home with their families for the Holidays. For those that aren't I hope that many people take advantage of our program called "Operation Apple". Note: If ordering Honeycrisp for someone you know serving order "Fancy" grade. Cheaper and we automatically upgrade to extra fancy.

We don't seek contributions but each time someone contributes enough for a case of apples we seek out the the name and apo/fpo of someone in Theatre and send them a case to share with their buddies. We are honored when people just take advantage of the free shipping. It is our little way to give back to those and their families who give up so much for us each day.

Wow hard to believe only a maximum of 10 shipping days left before Christmas. It has been another great fall and now winter. You still have plenty of time to order that gift box for a neighbor or treat yourself. Honeycrisp Season in Full Swing. Just like Baseball our all American past time apple season is here once again in "Full Swing". All our varieties of apples are coming in one by one. Just like teams being played one by one. Some you play more than once and some we pick more than once. Into the "Dugout", the coolers for our apples. They sit and wait till someone yells batter up! McIntosh, Gala, Pound Sweet, Fuji, Fortune, Red, all apples being picked, but they very well could have been the players of a team. A sweet and hard working team, fresh, energized, ready for the call.

A gift box to your door, an apple from our stand or riding down the road in an 18 wheeler on their way to your local market, our apples are ready. We have one of the nicest, largest, prettiest crops ever. We are lucky, lots of sun, lots of rain, lots of cool weather all at just the right time. We are truly blessed.

Apples 2009 -2010

Wow its August 29th and we are talking about starting another season. It seems like yesterday we were just ending the season. We have started to pick a couple of early varieties. In the next few days we will be starting our pre-order program for Honeycrisp apples. It is expected that we will begin to ship this years Honeycrisp between the 15th-21st of September. The crop of apples is looking to be a great crop.

We had another great season last year and have enjoyed shipping apples all over the world. We also continue our policy of free shipping to any military address. State side or 1/2 way around the world.

So as we finish up summer and get ready to start fall, I just wanted to say "HI", remind you to keep the faith, oh and eat apples. Lots of apples.

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Apples North Pole. Home of Honeycrisp apples. We know that Honeycrisp apple trees must have been brought by Santa. First lets take a moment and say thank you and give our thoughts and prayers to our Troops serving around the World. Their families being brave at home while they are away protecting us. Don't forget "Operation Apple", a program where all service people enjoy free shipping at Honeycrisp.com, no matter where they or their families are in the World.

So all the apples are fast asleep waiting to be on their way. Lately, as you might have seen our shipping has been delayed due to frigid temperatures here and at many locations. Just a quick note that if you thinking it might be freezing when they arrive you might want to make arrangements to have them brought inside. Maybe, to keep them nice and warm (above 32) you might want to get them at work. I was going to say the neighbor but hmm they might get eaten. If they freeze you will definitely know. They will not look like they did when they left the Orchard. They will look more like they aged about 90 years. If they freeze just contact us.

Learned a good "Tips and Tricks" today from one of our loyal Honeycrisp customers. If you know when your shipment of apples is coming leave a couple out from your last shipment for the UPS guy. Want them in that special spot in the garage.... Thats where you leave his treat... Just a little southern hospitality.

At this Holiday time I like to reflect on the many blessings we have been afforded. A great family with great kids and beautiful grandchildren and some pretty cute nieces and nephews. Like Carter, Sophie and Raeghan, so amazing how little people three and under can make such a difference in your life. A ever growing successful business, thanks to people just like you. Great business relationships that have grew into friendship.

Sometimes running what is considered in today's World a small family run business definitely has its advantages. Working with all of you each and every day is one of them.

Ok. Back to the apple thing. I know you probably love Honeycrisp. I do to. But its ok to venture out a little every once in a while. Go ahead try a Fortune ( great for those who miss Northern Spy) , Pink Lady or maybe Cameo. Cameo another one of my favorites, with its smooth flesh and great texture. I will never forget the first time I saw Cameo. I thought wow that is nothing but an poor colored Red Delicious. I should mention CandyCrisp, the golden apple with the distinctive pear flavor. Sweet is how I would describe it. If you like a sweeter, crunchier golden delicious this is your new found apple. Remember it has no acid and 100% sugar. One advantage to that high sugar is in making fried apples it stays hot all the way through dinner.

Honeycrisp apples are in season! I happily paid $10 for a bag at the farmer’s market last weekend. What? You say, “Dang, that’s expensive for an apple!” Let me ask you: have you ever bitten in to one of these? It’s like juice in your mouth while being crunchy and pleasing to chew. And the harvest season - when they are as as close to perfect as naturally possible- is not much longer than a month in Wisconsin.
I am grateful to live in a state that produces the best apple in the world.

Even though, we are from lovely upstate New York in Honeycrisp Country I agree Wisconsin does a great job with Honeycrisp. In fact my first trip to Wisconsin to look at Honeycrisp I even saw my first bear in the wild just waiting to cross the state highway. Maybe he was looking for Honeycrisp. We were one of the first to introduce Honeycrisp to the public and I remember doing tastes tests having to talk people into trying Honeycrisp. Now, not so much the case. Your are so correct from a marketing prospective. Nothing or no one can market Honeycrisp apples like Honeycrisp themselves. That first bite with the breaking texture and the little squirt of juice with a great balance between sweet and start and the marketing train has left the station. I do kind of feel bad for the other little apple trains that are a little worn out and more and more its the “H” train that people want to board. Wow from Honeycrisp apples to trains. Have a wonderful day."

This couldnt been brought to light any better that Honeycrisp Apples truly market themselves. Maybe sometimes even a little too much. With Honeycrisp in short supply around the Country its hard to get some people to switch back when Honeycrisp apples run short. We would probably say well you can ride the train this year until at least May. Have a great day.

We are now picking and shipping Honeycrisp. Hopefully we will have them again this year for our customers until May once again. I would like to express our thoughts and prayers to all those along the Gulf Coast that have been affected by the most recent Hurricane.

Honeycrisp remains the most popular apple ordered on our site. With that said we still have those loyal McIntosh, Cortland and the New England favorite Macoun.

Honeycrisp apple pre-orders are starting September 1st. Honeycrisp will starting picking sometime around the 15th of September and we will start to ship the very first day they are picked. CA & AZ customers apples will start shipping sometime around the 3rd week of October (see our site for details). While Honeycrisp apples are the hot item we are now picking Zestar and Paulareds and will soon be picking McIntosh apples.

Honeycrisp apples are disappearing from store shelves, but at Honeycrisp.com we still have them in stock. It has been a great apple season and it will continue into the spring.

Please note that shipping apples from Upstate New York we may have to delay shipment when the temps fall below 20 degrees.

Honeycrisp make a great addition to the Superbowl. This New Yorker has to stick with the Giants.

For those of you who have had the opportunity to talk to Aarika at Honeycrisp.com we would like to wish her the best with the next addition to our family, Sophie. Sophie is due to arrive on or about Februay 16th, which just happens to be my Birthday. So another apple expert to enter the World. The Holiday season is here and another
year of being protected by our wonderful troops has passed.

Well as I thought about this more I started to think that all troops to include those who aren't presently serving oversees protect us. The Honeycrisp apple season is well underway. We have a very nice crop of Honeycrisp apples. The New England favorite Macoun are just starting to be picked in Northern New York. The Cortland apple which many people love for salads and pies are also ready. Another great New York Apple we are picking is the Empire apple.

Many people are already utilizing our fruit for months program and others enjoy our Honeycrisp sample pack that gives you the option of 1/2 Honeycrisp apples and picking another variety.

As you can see in the picture our Grandson Carter has taken over quality control and has officially approved this years SnappyMacs. Carter has decided that the McIntosh apples are a big hit.

CA and AZ customers will be getting their shipments starting approximately October 15th. CA and AZ Departments or Agriculture require that apples be in cold storage for 45 days before the apples can be shipped into their States. The great State of New York even prints a nice sticker that we have to buy and put on each box to certify that we participate in this program.

Honeycrisp and our other apples are the staple of our business but soon you will see us offering some Wine products from the lovely Napa Valley of California. More information to come but this is one of our Honeycrisp customers who owns a fabulous Winery in Napa. Over the last year we and our friends and family have been sampling this wine and have determined it is some of the best Wine we have ever had. Honeycrisp and Wine what a great combination.

The Honeycrisp apple season has started and you can order them on one of our sites. You will notice that the early Honeycrisp are a little tarter for those of you that enjoy them tarter. As they make sugar and we are picking the Honeycrisp over the next couple of weeks they will be less tart. It looks to be a great Honeycrisp season along with our other great apples. Remember we have both Extra Fancy and Fancy Honeycrisp. For those New England transplants we have put our Macoun and Cortland apples on pre-order. Both Macoun (parent of Honeycrisp) and Cortland apples will be ready before the end of the month. For those who have fallen in love with the all new CandyCrisp they will be a few weeks away. Honeycrisp is by far our most popular apple but it never hurts to try a different apple like Cameo or Pink Lady. Both for the secure feeling that they are ordered and you will get them and for the ease of ordering once we have our "fruit for months" program. Presently you can order a 3 month supply of Honeycrisp but we will soon be adding a 6 month program. Last year we shipped well into June but depending upon crop size, demand and storage that can always change. We would like to believe that we will have Honeycrisp and your other favorite apples until at least April 1st. Questions or concerns just send us an email or give us a call. Honeycrisp Apples In May

Just a little info for all you Honeycrisp apple crunchers. Like most apples Honeycrisp do not eat the same in May as they do in September or October. As apples stay in storage you will find them turning more starch to sugar thus making them sweeter or not as tart. Thus when you don't realize the tartness you might find them to have less flavor when in fact they are just sweeter. Also, while Honeycrisp will be probably one of the most crunchiest apples you will eat in may they aren't going to be as crisp as they were in October. Most apples on the East Coast are picked by November 1st each year (or else they would be frozen) and then get tucked away in the cooler until they are needed. Some apples are stored in controlled atmosphere storage until they are needed. Basically CA storage is accomplished by removing the oxygen from the room thus slowing the ripening process. Harder apples such as Mutsu and crispier apples like Honeycrisp will give you the most crispness for your bite. Happy Mothers Day to all you moms out there and we hope your enjoying your apples!

Honeycrisp Apples from The Frozen Tundra of Upstate New York!

Hello from Upstate New York where we went from Global Warming to sub zero. It looks like at night it will be just about zero until at least the 19th of February. We still have great apples in storage including Honeycrisp apples but are holding any shipments until 2/19/07. Apples that have been frozen would look wrinkled. If you receive apples from us that appear to have been frozen please let us know. Also, Honeycrisp due have a tendency to get a little sweeter while in storage. So if you tried the tarter ones in the fall don't be real surprised if your new shipment is just a little sweeter. Just in time for the sweetness of Valentines day.

All I Want For Christmas From Florida!

I have hesitated posting as I want our Military "Operation Apple" people "The Troops" to be at the top where they belong. But then I realized yesterday after a phone call that I need to make a new post for our Troops. The reason they are 1/2 way around the World standing in harms way.

A year ago I got a call on a Sunday from a Dad in Florida and he asked if I could get a case of Honeycrisp apples sent to Florida by Christmas. Then yesterday I got the same call from that same Dad basically asking the same question again. Most likely I will tell the story for another year just like I have for the last. So like Jack and so many of you I am a Dad too. Three wonderful children Aarika 26, Paul II 24 and Brittany is 19. If they wanted apples for Christmas I would probably buy them for them too. But Lindsey from Florida, Jacks daughter, is twelve (12), so yes last year she was 11 and all she wanted for Christmas was a 40lb case of Honeycrisp apples! My kids are all practically grown and I could only wish for the Christmas that they asked for apples for Christmas. Tonight I say hi to Lindsey, my favorite 12 year old in Florida, who I have never even met. Also, hi to her great dad Jack who like many of us only want to make sure their kids are happy on a special day.

So while Lindsey doesn't even know it, the next package of apples we send to a Military person in Iraq is going to be from Lindsey. Lindsey while not even knowing it represents every 12 year old in America who like my Children are protected by wonderful hero's around the World. Our Service people. So while I didn't want to do a new post because I wanted our service people on top with "Operation Apple", our Service people are always on top protecting our freedom around the World.

"Operation Apple"

has been taking place over the last few months in an undisclosed location in Iraq. It has been rumored that this Crunching of "Explosively Crisp®" Honeycrisp has been taking place at a Medical Unit, but this has not been confirmed yet by any reputable sources like the "AP". It has been said by Senior Officials within the Military that possibly these Honeycrisp apples have lifted the spirit and provided higher levels of energy among the troops.

While we did not check with "JK" it does appear that troops that eat Honeycrisp are highly educated. This was further confirmed by the fact that in caption of this picture that they spelled everything correctly to include the word Honeycrisp which many times by people in the press and Washington DC is misspelled "Honey Crisp". Just google news the word Honeycrisp.

These troops also are of higher intelligence by the mere fact that they choose a nutritional snack, an apple, Honeycrisp and that they are indeed smiling while consuming them. Some in Washington might be eating Red Delicious.

We would like to thank people like Dan, Greta, Emily Anne and some other participants who at this time we can not either confirm or deny their participation in "Operation Apple".

It should be noted that any remarks that might be considered sarcastic were only the opinion of the author and not any Military person who is proudly serving their Country.

All kidding aside it is our honor to participate in "Operation Apple" by paying the shipping of the apples to our brave, proud men and women serving their Country. Operation Ship Apples or Soldiers Love Apples

All about apples unless I decide to talk about something else. Recently we have been sending a few apples to our fine Men and Woman serving in Iraq. We as a company and the Mulbury Family have been not charging the shipping associated with these apple orders. It really started due to the fact our system wont figure the shipping for the APO addresses. We are presently looking to put a program together where people ordering on our site can contribute to "Operation Ship Apples" so we can expand this program. We are open to suggestions and are looking to possibly team up with a couple of groups that are shipping packages to Soldiers they don't even know. That program I think I would name "Operation Random Acts of Kindness".

But in the short time this has started it has grown to more than just picking up the tab for the shipping. It has given us a chance to correspond with great service people like Dan, Emily and Greta serving our Country in Iraq. My message to them has been one of my families appreciation for their service to protect us. That our prayers are with them as they serve like many others before them. My biggest thing is just to say THANK YOU FOR SERVING YOUR COUNTRY and that everyone I talk to are very proud of them. I realize that they are only a few of the proud but they are like all that serve beside them, they are our "Proud". I know when I chat back and fourth with them in just a few brief emails it makes me feel proud that people like them represent our Country.

Recently I had to fly to St. Louis for some meetings and on my way back flying US Air out of St. Louis the US Air employee handling the boarding walked over to two men in Uniform and had them board first. Maybe that is normal practice I do not know but I thought that it was nice. One persons way (or one company) of showing their appreciation and respect. They sat just across the row from me and come to find out they were on their way home to WV from boot camp/Tech training. One of the guys was excited that his grandmother was waiting up just to see him arrive home but his largest excitement seem to come from the thought of just sleeping in his own bed. I thought after I wish I had known his name, maybe send him a box of apples.

After we get done watching everything on CNN and FOX and sit and ponder wondering what we can do maybe it could be just so simple. So simple to say "Thank You" to a person in Uniform or without even knowing what their religious beliefs are saying "My Prayers are with you" or maybe it is making a small donation to one of the organizations that have organized to send packages to our troops like Jacobs Light Foundation, which touched my heart when I saw Dorine Kenney, Jacobs mom on the CNN show Glenn Beck.

In the end I know that our Military people and their families do so much to protect us and we do so little to show them our appreciation. Maybe all including myself should and could do just a little bit more.

So again THANK YOU FOR SERVING YOUR COUNTRY, my thoughts and prayers are with you. If your a person serving in Iraq or Afghanistan and maybe just need someone to trade emails, send me one.

Oh and to Glenn Beck. We all need to tell Glenn great that he has all these great stories but needs to make it easier to find things like Jacobs Light Foundation on his site. Come on Glenn your a great patriot and I love your show but you could cut one tab of advertising and "GB" to have a spot for the Troops. Remember Glenn these are the guys and girls that are going to pull the batteries out of your doomsday clock.

Honeycrisp apples are now being picked and are ready for Shipment.
McIntosh apples, Paulared apples and Gala apples are also ready. So for those of you suffering from the lack of Honeycrisp today is a great day. Cortland apples and then Macoun apples are right around the corner. Remember Honeycrisp apples will still be great and crunchy in February and March. So if McIntosh or Macoun is one of your favorites you can always get them early and then order Honeycrisp apples later. You can order as early as you like for the Holiday season so book mark our site. Our early Fuji will be ready by the first week in October and Northern Spy will be ready the 1st of November.

Honeycrisp apples are being pre-ordered now for shipment the last week in September. For all the those people suffering from Honeycrisp apple withdrawal its ok you will get your fix in just two more weeks. Paula Red apples are shipping now and this week we will ship some of the all new Zestar, another great MN variety.

McIntosh we will start shipping later next week for all the McIntosh apple fans. Yes that is all of you northerners that now live in Sunny Florida.

Macoun apples. Or Macooon apples if you are Martha Stewart or even from the same State as Martha. That is her State of residence not her temporary residence that had the large fence and gates with guards. Or the next state up and 1/2 way up the next one. That would be New Hampshire. But the people in CT, MA and NH can probably get Macoun apples at the local grocery store. Yes it is only those of you that have moved to places like California and Arizona that have to order from people like us to eat apples that taste as good as when you were a kid. For those of you that have to know Macoun will be about October 5th give or take a few days or a large wind storm.

Northern Spy. Yes they do make a great pie. Yes we do feel bad that your Grand Mother can't find them so it makes her cry. Slip her a few Honeycrisp apples in her Christmas Stocking and she will now truly believe in Santa Clause. Well not to worry we will have Northern Spy around the 2nd of November just in time to make the pie. Oh and CandyCrisp apple, the all new sweet, and I do mean sweet, apple will be ready around the same time. Keeps a nice firm texture when cooking and I believe they make a great pie.

I can't resist to mention again Honeycrisp apples. One by one you each convert. It is normal to feel all the feeling you feel when suffering from Honeycrisp withdrawl. The Honeycrisp apple 2006-2007 apple season is starting. We made it till June with Honeycrisp last year and we hope to go that long again this year. The apple crop is looking to be a good one. Help us in your thoughts and prayers no big storms with wind in late September through October.

Last year we added Chocolate covered Honeycrisp which was a huge hit. Also, added were more apple varieties at the request of you the customer. "Fruit for Months" was a great addition which many customers took advantage of securing their Honeycrisp well into the spring. With this program feel free to drop us a note either to delay shipment of your next box or "We're running out send us another on Monday". We are now looking at other specialty items of high quality as an addition to the business we have built with Honeycrisp. Honeycrisp apple gift boxes would be the word of the day. Tis the season to be jolly and order Honeycrisp apples. It is amazing how many people send apples for the Holidays. I would agree they make the perfect gift. Our Chocolate cover Honeycrisp apples have been a great success with our customers. When ordering apple gift boxes from any company always know what your buying. Apples ship best in a foam insert apple box. This way in the apple gift box each apple has its very own hole in the foam to be placed in. This reduces any chance of bruising in shipment.

The new apples to watch for in the future will be our all new CandyCrisp and a new apple from Minnesota called Snow Sweet.

Back to the Holiday spirit of ordering apple gift boxes. Don't worry for those fans of things like Northern Spy apples they are still popular too. My Mother-In-Law is famous for this when I say Ma try a new apple she is like those are good but where are my McIntosh apples. Its all about apples unless I want to talk about something else. I should have posted this yesterday. I was reminded while watching Fox News when a commentator said "no matter how you feel about the war in Iraq you should thank our service people, see one of our men or woman maybe in a store and just walk up and say "thank you for your service"". What a good idea this really is, and it is just so easy. My wife said she had done this just the other day while in a local store. I know about a year ago when traveling I did it in the airport. Myself being former AirForce I know how proud you are when you wear the uniform that protects our country and its people every day. For some it started as a job or a opportunity to receive some college assistance. But when its time to walk the walk in that uniform its only honor for ones Country that they awake to each and every day. So while I sit in my nice warm office not far from my family, safe, and comfortable I would like to take a moment to pause and say thank you to that man or woman who is wearing that uniform today keeping my family and myself safe. So again it only takes a second, just a few words and a smile when you see one of our great service people in uniform to say "thank you for your service".

Good morning from the Honeycrisp blog. Thanksgiving is a time for food and celebration and Honeycrisp is a perfect fit. My wife Jane in fact uses some Honeycrisp apples in our stuffing and my mom, Grama Woolley to my kids, will be making her famous apple pie with some Honeycrisp apples. Honeycrisp apples make a great apple pie if you like a pie that is a little crunchy. If you want that apple pie that the only crunch is the crust then use McIntosh apples or Cortland apples.
Back to the Turkey. Turkey really do love Honeycrisp apples, as our growers have a hard time keeping them out of their Honeycrisp orchards. As with most things Turkey love to just peck an apple, then another, then another. If you love Honeycrisp don't hate the Turkey they are one of the dummest birds on earth and really don't know any better.

Attention: Paul, the Chief Honeycrisp Cruncher. Dear Paul, My Honeycrisp apples arrived today, all 98 of them in their tightly shipped box, lovingly carried by my UPS delivery guy. (Thank you again for the two Macoun apples you substituted.) I haven't dove headfirst into a box since I was about 7 years old and my cousin put me into a refrigerator box upside down. But today, I did it voluntarily. The aroma wafted from the box as I carefully lifted my fruit to the sink. Husband came running, dogs gave up the squirrel chase when they heard my gleeful cries. We had just finished lunch, but what the heck, this is THE apple I had been waiting for. I carefully rinse my beauties, set them on the good china with a fruit knife and a cloth napkin and set them on the table. How we enjoyed the slicing and peeling and eating. We had one of the Honeycrisp and one of the Macoun. The Macoun started those salivary glands-a-squirting. It was a beautiful experience. So here we are at the end of the night. The apples have been set in the coolness of the garage for the evening. Tonight, no formalities. Just we two, four apples, watching TV and typing on the 'puter. No frills, paper napkins and juice running down our chins. Two different events, two similar outcomes, two satisfied customers. The empty box will be wrapped and set under the tree and if the family is good, really, really good, they may get an apple in their stocking instead of an orange. No we don't have anything against oranges, but figured Florida needed all they could salvage. This is the year of the APPLE! Anyway, thank you for your website, your prompt delivery and your preparation and packaging of your fine fruits. We shall enjoy them with gusto, or cheese, or even squirrel if the dogs can catch one.
